![]() Components could be tapped on to point destroyed areas. Armor and inside structure - every location signifies how much armor stays, and could be tapped on to lower the remaining armor degree (or lengthy tapped to undo) Pilot - Pilot and Gunnery skills, together with hits taken Heat sinks - present/max, together with a scale to keep observe of present temperature (for now it just tracks instances used, not if there's any remaining ammo) Ammo - each bit of ammo may be tapped on to remember how many times you used it. Weapon record with check boxes to recollect which weapons you are declaring to fireside Walk/Run/Jump values that auto modify if critical damage happens. Overview reveals the identify and tons of the mech The app doesn't embrace any mech designs itself - but it can learn in MTF files (from the equally superior MegaMek laptop game) This software is fan made to make the authors life simpler and hopefully can be of use to others. Some were captured & had just weapons swapped, but the Invading Clans also restarted many of the factories they captured with only re-tooling for Clan weapons. The Mech Sheets utility is a free, open supply software designed to make game play of the Classic BattleTech table top recreation (by Catalyst Game Labs) simpler when paper record sheets aren't an option. Many C models were also upgrades of Inner Sphere 3025 Mechs. It’s possible an odd MAD-3Rb or WHM-7A got an Clan XL engine put in it, but that’s not an officially published variant in any sorce book I’ve seen. Partially because it wasn’t worth upgrading them for second like units, but also reverence like BacchicLitNerd stated. I’m guessing most of the Royal SLDF Mechs that already had things like DHS were just fielded as is. The Warhammer, Marauder, and Archer C models have standard engines, structure, armor, and single heat sinks. And many were also base model (level 1 tech) that came from non-Royal SLDF units. The C models are also weapon only upgrades from the SLDF models. Most of them started fielding large numbers of ProtoMechs after the Great Refusal due to how much easier/quicker those are to produce compared to a brand new Mech. Potential in front line units when desperate. The less capable Clans like Blood Spirit fielded larger numbers of SDLF and C models Mechs. Much of the Invading Clans and more capable Home Clans PGC (Provisional Garrison Clusters) would still be made up of SLDF and C models, along with the IIC models and an odd OmniMech if the warrior was lucky. The warrior centric Jaguars just didn’t have the industrial capability of the other Invading Clans, or Home Clans like Adder or Coyote. The Wolves had a long, hard time recovering from the Refusal with the Jade Falcon. Even still some of them faced resource issues at point. The Invading Clans were definitely among the Clans that could produce, trade for, or capture large numbers of OmniMechs and IIC models. Plus the Clans only have so much industrial capacity. Even the Wolves only give out Orions as basically ceremonial gifts to favored commanders.Ī technician deigning to presume they could improve the Black Knight is probably on "mortal claiming to be more beautiful than Aphrodite" levels of hubris. For instance, the Clans hold the Kerenskys in such high regard that only Clan Wolf makes the Orion IIC, because for anyone but the clan that actually holds the Kerensky Bloodname to presume to claim Aleksandr's signature mech might very well be grounds for Absorbtion of the whole Clan. I'd wager they mostly refit the IS generalists with new tech to not risk being accused of sacrilege (and because most of the SLDF classic designs weren't unseen and didn't need new art, but that's a different matter). They're definitely willing to go the extra mile to keep those Mechs in original shape, because more than garrison Mechs, they are heritage. A lot of the SLDF stock Mechs they have, they have records of exactly who piloted it in the Amaris Civil War and The Exodus Civil War/Operation Klondike. ![]() I think you are underestimating the reverence that the Clans have for the original SLDF. It seems odd they would use weapons they can't even replace anymore.
